My Thoughts
26% of the way in and I have feelings. I cannot get over how real and wonderful this story is.
Rachel Walsh’s life is drastically different from when she was first introduced to readers of the Walsh Family series. Now, she’s clean and sober, approaching 50, loves her job as head counselor at The Cloisters, she’s close to her family, she’s in a healthy relationship, but when one of her former in-law’s dies and she sees her former love, her life is thrown into disarray.
I unequivocally loved this novel and I’m a little ashamed to admit that this was my first Marian Keyes novel , but that will be changing (and quickly), as I cannot wait to lose myself in this series. 😍
* Well, since originally writing this review, I started the Walsh series, and I’m really, really enjoying what I’ve read so far. This novel was gorgeous, and I’m so happy that I started reading this series; it’s a wonderful family to visit with.

Back in the long ago nineties, Rachel Walsh was a mess.
But a spell in rehab transformed everything. Life became very good, very quickly. These days, Rachel has love, family, a great job as an addiction counsellor, she even gardens. Her only bad habit is a fondness for expensive sneakers.

She'd thought she was settled. Fixed forever. Is she about to discover that no matter what our age, everything can change?
Is it time to think again, Rachel?
