My Thoughts
Did I just get that carbs are good for menopause? If so, I’m finally doing something right. 😆
In all seriousness, this cookbook is laid out cleanly, and is informative without being guilty of medicalese.
Many of the breakfasts, light bites, and desserts are vegan friendly, but most of the entrees are not, most having meat and or dairy. Entree listings - 34, vegan listings - 5.
For carnivorous people in perimenopause or menopause, I think this is a really worthwhile addition to one’s home bookshelves. If you’re vegan or vegetarian, I’d suggest borrowing this from your library before buying.
